Personality: Dean can be very serious most of the time; mainly due to his overprotective nature towards his younger sister, Krista. He won't hesitate in killing a Walker and definitely won't if a human has been infected; he's kind of given up on the idea of a cure. He has a lot of built up anger; from his childhood, to his mother's death. He bottles this up inside and discovered that he actually releases his pent up rage when killing zombies - which can provide to be a good or bad thing, depending on the situation. When he isn't burdened with the worry of his younger sister's safety and his own, he is pretty fun to be around, often playing jokes on others, mucking around and being silly; he tries to cheer people up - though it depends on what's gotten them down in the first place. He's caring and understanding; he can relate to mostly everyone, since most people have experienced finding their relatives dead or having a relative turned into a Walker. He's stubborn; he won't rest until he gets his own way - however if someone proves his way to be wrong, then he'll admit it while still trying to hold his dignity. He can be flirtatious if he wants to be and if he finds someone attractive; however he knows there is a time and place for everything.
Appearance: lightly tanned skin, rather athletic build, reasonable height for a male. He has light brown, short hair, blue-green eyes and is usually seen wearing a brown jacket, jeans and a plain shirt.
History: As a young child, Dean was brought up in a whole household (his mother and father, along with his younger sister (by four years), Krista). His father worked as a police officer while Dean, his mother and his sister did chores around the house, located in the countryside; not too far from town. They were your stereotypical family; the father being the income earner, the mother being the housewife and the two children being raised by the mother. Whenever their father was around, he would often teach Dean specific techniques; fighting, weaponry, fixing cars etc. He did this in case something happened to him on a job and therefore Dean would need to be there to protect his family. However, this wasn't the most pleasant upbringing; Dean often being abused if he did something wrong, or said the wrong thing. The rules were very strict in the Winchester household; however Krista was often lucky in avoiding trouble and getting on her mother and father's good side. When Dean turned 12, Krista 8, their father died on the job, being shot by a criminal; therefore leaving Dean to be the protector of the family. Dean and Krista grew up, being raised by their mother and eventually having to find jobs at a young age, to provide income so that they could live a semi-normal lifestyle; Dean working as an apprentice mechanic and Krista working at the local grocery store. The two siblings would often have to go on road trips into town, usually this took about an hour both there and back, to purchase groceries and other needs for their mother and themselves. Hearing about an infectious outburst on the television, they ignored it, not thinking the infection would spread out into the country side. They made a trip into town once more, stocking up on foods and other items in case the epidemic got serious. Once they returned home, they stepped inside to find their house trashed and their mother dead. They quickly packed up their things, stocked everything into Dean's car and drove off as fast as they could, not looking back. Since then, Dean has always been very overprotective of his sister. She is the only family he has and he is willing to do anything in order to make sure she doesn't succumb to the horrible disease.
