A night filled with horror

Daryl rode all the way back to the forest with everyone following behind before making a stop around the area they were last time. He got off the motorcycle and turned the keys to turn off the engine. Glancing around the area, he tried to listen for any sound as he took his crossbow out. He looked around for a moment before realizing the place looked secure,for now at least. "Alright...I think we better look for firewood once again." He grumbled and averted his eyes to everyone "Stay close, I've only got so many arrows." He mumbled lowly feeling relieved that they got more ammo at least.

Cassy had laid down on her stomach the whole time feeling uncomfortable since the floor of the truck wasn't exactly the most comfortable place to be. She crossed her arms and rested her head in them as she looked at the floor getting lost in thought. Before she knew it, the truck came to a stop making her lift her head and stand up. She winced for a second and walked to lift open the door from the truck. She looked over at the forest before jumping off and dusting off her shorts. "Here again?" She frowned and ran her fingers through her hair feeling like she was filled with a bunch of dirt. She grimaced for a second at the feeling and walked over to the forest. "Firewood..again?" She raised her eyebrows and let out a sigh as she began to walk in the forest.

Andrea wasn't overly keen on the idea of staying near the same spot they were the night prior, but they didn't have much of a choice now. Especially since it was dark out. Once they arrived, she turned her engine off before hopping out of the car. "Fire wood?" she sighed and looked around the forest. "Alright then" she made sure she had her gun in the holster before heading off into the forest, collecting some sticks and twigs that were reasonably sturdy to keep the fire going. Once she had collected a fair amount, she turned around, heading back to the direction she came from and tossing the sticks and twigs in a pile. Putting her hands on her hips, she analysed the area, not having a very good feeling about the place.

Aladdin headed out along with a few others, retrieving some wood for the fire. He returned to the campsite and tossed them in the pile on top of Andrea's.

Once Dean pulled up to the campsite, he got out, seeing a few people going to get some wood for the fire. Krista got out and rubbed her arm before face palming, "fuck. I forgot the girl's car" she hesitated and glanced at Dean. Dean shrugged, "well there's not much you can do now" he smirked and shut the car door before heading over to where the others were.

Daryl went out looking for firewood once again. As he continued to walk, he stopped hearing a growl. He raised an eyebrow before turning around hearing that it was coming from right behind him. He quickly aimed his crossbow before realizing the walker was hanging by a rope making him breath out a sigh of relief. He looked at the tree the walker was hanging in and read the note that was attached to it. "Got bit. Fever hit. World gone to shit. Might as well quit." He read aloud before looking up at the walker as he couldn't help but breathe a chuckle.

Josh slammed the truck door and opened Caroline's for her. "You think about running, I won't think twice about killing you." He said sternly. He stared at her for a few seconds before giving her a small grin. "Ladies' first." He grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the truck. He walked up to the pile of wood that Andrea had already gathered.

Josh pulled his backpack down and took out a case of hot dogs. "Better eat these before they rot," he replied. "You start a fire and we can cook these." He said to Cassy who stood before them. He put the pack down and sat on the ground. He took out his gun and examined the bullets inside. "Daryl," Josh started. "Same routine as last night? We all take shifts?"

Cassy couldn't help but grumbled quietly under her breath when he told her to start a fire. She rolled her eyes and pretended she didn't hear him and she walked more into the forest. She then remembered about the thing she was planning to do with the infection issue going on. "A walker..and now I need an animal's brain..again." She breathed out with a slight frown hating to start over again,but if they were going to get anywhere with humanity,they needed to find some kind of cure. She grabbed her gun and looked around trying to find some kind of walker.

"Useless people." she muttered under her breath as the guy pulled her out walking over at the pile of wood she sat down glaring at them before leaning back looking away from them 'useless. I only ask for that girl to bring my car and she leaves it.. Bitch.' she thought, maybe it was bad for her to even go with them.

Stepping out of the car Alice went over by the fire "Need help." she said placing her hand on her hips before looking over at the red hair girl "what's with. never mind.' she shook her head before seeing the smart ass grin on deans face. "I'll be back Josh.' she said going over by dean "Did you plan to leave her car their?" she asked raising her eyebrow at him

He aimed his crossbow at the hanging walker "Dumbass didn't know enough to shoot himself in the head. Turns himself in a swinging piece of bait. And a mess. " He mumbled quietly to himself before breathing another chuckle "Hanging up there like a big piñata." He grinned and quickly shot his arrow to the head of the walker. "Another waste of an arrow.." he sighed and walked back to the group and looked at Josh when he spoke. "Yep. We all take shifts." He mumbled with a nod and looked at Caroline seeing she looked pissed. "Stop with that attitude." He grumbled.

"Sounds good to me.." Josh said before getting distracted by Cassy. "Cassy where are you- God damnit!" He whispered obviously irritated. He looked at Daryl and rolled his eyes. "I gave that bitch one job.." He shook his head. He reached into his pocket and took out an old lighter of his from when he used to smoke a lot. He lit a stick on the ground on fire before throwing on top of the rest. The wood grew into a small fire. "Good enough." He said.

He took a couple hot dogs from the package and gave them to the people around him. Josh laughed a bit. He was just going to eat the hot dog uncooked anyways. He took a bit from it and sat down next to the fire. As the night grew, so did the cold. He pulled down his rolled up sleeves so his arms weren't bare anymore. He sighed. Just another cold night..

As Cassy was out looking for a walker, she stopped realizing she lost her way making her quickly panic as she nibbled on her lower lip. That is, until she heard a noise of feet dragging across the grass. She hid behind a tree and got her weapon ready as she took a deep breath. She stepped out from behind the tree and aimed her gun at the walker before hesitating when she realized there was no walker. Turning her head, she couldn't help but breathed out a small cry when the walker turned out to behind her. She flinched when it began to lung towards her,tackling her to the ground making her drop her gun. She panicked as she tried to use her feet to keep a distance between her and the walker,kicking it numerously. She bit her lower lip roughly as she tried to hold in screams as the walker tried to dig it's nails into her skin. Looking at the ground,she quickly reached for her gun and pointed it over at the walker as she took a shot hitting it in the forehead. She flinched at the loud noise the gun made as it echoed through the forest making her groan as she forgot to put the silencer on it. She pushed the walker away from her and began to hear many growls making her run back from where she came from.

Andrea rolled her eyes at the two men. "That, bitch, is called Cassy" she looked at Josh with her eyebrows raised before looking over, hearing running. She quickly turned, seeing Cassy looked rather frightened. She rushed over, "are you okay? What happened?" she asked quickly, before looking past her, hearing a few growls. "Great" she grumbled and grabbed her gun quickly, pushing Cassy towards the cars, "get in" she looked at the younger ones.

Aladdin looked at Cassy and then at Andrea before hesitating. He jumped into the back of the truck, searching around for a weapon he could use. He grabbed the baseball bat and held it outwards, preparing to hit any walker that came near.

Daryl glanced at Cassy seeing her walking away when Josh gave her orders. He looked back at Josh and breathed a sigh "Just leave her." He grumbled as he raised his hands "We have other things to worry about." He mumbled and moved to sit near the fire when he lit up the wood. He watched as they ate before jumping back on his feet as he heard the sound of a gunshot. "What the hell-" He groaned as he lifted his weapon. He looked around to see that Cassy was rushing towards them followed by growling sounds. "Fuck! You can't be serious!" He glared.

Cassy slightly tripped as she stumbled her way back to the camp. She glanced behind her before looking at Andrea "I-I..I-" She stuttered not being able to get her words out before flinching as Andrea pushed her towards the cars. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She said repeatedly before tucking her lips in forcing herself to shut up as she shivered with fear. Grabbing her gun out, she dropped it since she grew nervous making her hands tremble. She bent down to pick it up and stayed on the ground as she saw a couple dozen walkers making their way to camp. Turning her head, she noticed a couple more from behind making her eyes widen.

Andrea quickly turned, seeing Cassy fumbling with her gun. "Cassy! GET IN" she yelled, there wasn't time for fiddling around. She opened the door to her car and pushed her in before shutting it. She shot at the walkers, before grabbing her keys from her pockets and rushing around to the driver's side of her car, she continued to shoot, hopefully that would make them back off a bit.

Aladdin's eyes widened as dozens of walkers made their way into camp. One walked over to the truck, heading for Aladdin. He swung his bat, getting the walker right on the side of the head. He grimaced at the sound it made before pushing the thought aside and preparing for more.

Daryl gave her a look as she repeated the same thing before looking back at the forest seeing the walkers making their way. "We can't take on this many assholes." He said loudly as he glanced at Andrea as she got in her vehicle. "And we can't just drive away." he groaned seeing the walkers would surround the vehicles making them be unable to move. He aimed his arrow before dropping his crossbow on the floor knowing it wasn't made to handle a group of walkers since he had to reload quickly,and he only had three arrows. He took his knife out and tackled the first walker he was as he quickly stabbed the top of it's head before looking at the other walkers that seem to be a fair distance. Maybe it wasn't late to drive away. He quickly got on his motorcycle and looked at Josh "Come on! Get in the truck!" He yelled at everyone.

"Aw hell," Josh said throwing the hot dog down on the ground. He picked up two knives in his backpack and stood next to Aladdin. A few walkers came towards them. Josh grabbed his bag and ran for the truck. "Caroline, get in now!" He screamed at her. He felt something grab his shoulder and he swung around. A walker tried to corner him into the truck. He punched it into the face causing it to fall to the ground. He took his knife and stabbed it repeatably into it's eye until it stopped moving.

He started the truck and backed out to where he could have a clear view of the walkers. He took out his gun and shot at one that started towards Alice. "Get in!" He yelled again to the people around him.

Cassy looked up and nodded quickly as she forced herself to grab the gun and stand up. "R-right" She stuttered before flinching again when Andrea pushed her in. She bit her lip when her back hit the seat's arm rest before quickly adjusting herself to the seat as she buried her face in her hands,shaking her head at what she had done.

Caroline jumped hearing some growls as she lessened to the blonde for once, jumping on her feet she quickly climbed in the truck, she pulled out her gun shooting at the walkers "shit to many of them!" she said quickly reloading her weapon, to bad she can't use her katana.

Alice jumped hearing the walkers coming and Josh telling her to get in the truck, more worried about dean and krista but they can handle themselves right? She quickly made a run for it grabbing a hold o the handle and climbing in the truck in the back seat "How the fuck did they find us?"

Once everyone had climbed into the cars, Andrea wound down her window and shot a walker in the face as it neared her car. "Well, come on! Let's move!" she shouted, wondering what was taking them so long. She looked behind her and slammed on the gas, reversing out the way they came quickly. She growled under her breath as she hit a few walkers, leaving a few dents in her car. Once they hit the road, she swerved away and put the car into drive, waiting for the others.

Aladdin stayed in the back of the truck, fending off any nearing walkers as the others got themselves sorted. "Come on!" he yelled, panic noticeable in his voice.

Daryl groaned loudly when he realized his crossbow was on the floor. He jumped out of his motorcycle and tripped on a rock when he rushed to get his crossbow. Falling to the floor, he took out his knife and turned his body to face up as he stabbed the walker's forehead that was getting on the ground to attack. When the walker slumped on his body, he groaned before looking at his crossbow as he reached for it. He raised an eyebrow when he noticed the other walkers weren't really paying attention to him before shaking the thought away as he grabbed his weapon. He pushed the walker off of him and rushed to his motorcycle before starting it and placing his foot on the gas. He quickly rode away not looking behind him.

Cassy lifted her head quickly when she heard a thump against the window and grimaced as she couldn't help her slight cry seeing a walker rubbing up against the window,trying to break it.She raised her feet on the seat and closed her eyes tightly as Andrea swerved away and put the car into drive. She rubbed her face against her hands not fully thinking straight.

(Head to the country now?)
